Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the schedule for Bihar Class 10, 12 special and compartment exams 2025. Students, who did not clear, and was unable to appear for the Bihar matric and intermediate board examination, will be able to appear for the compartment, and special exams.

The board will conduct the Bihar matric special and compartment exams 2025 from May 2 in dual shifts. First shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:45 noon, while the second shift will take place from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
The BSEB Class 12 special and compartment exams 2025 will be held on May 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 13 in two shifts. Students will be given a 'Cool off' time for additional 15 minutes.
The board will conduct the Bihar Matric compartment and special exams 2025 on May 2,3, 5 and 7. Students will be able to apply for a maximum of three subjects, including mandatory subjects such as English, science, social science, and mathematics, along with an option subject.
As per the guidelines and eligibility criteria, the Bihar Class 10, 12 compartment exams 2025 are open to students, who failed in one or two subjects including English. On the other hand, students, who were unable to appear for the board exams due to official or unofficial reasons, are eligible to appear for the special exams.
The BSEB will declare the Bihar Class 10, 12 compartment and special exams 2025 result on May 31 on its official websites at biharboardonline.org or biharboardonline.com.
In addition, the practical exams of the optional subjects such as home science, music, dance, fine arts and music for visually impaired candidates and vocational optional subjects, such as security, beautician, tourism, retail management, automobile, electronics and hardware, beauty and wellness, telecom and ITITs Trade will be conducted from April 29 to 30.

The Bihar board has also notified that visually impaired candidates will appear in the examination of Music in place of Science subject held in the first shift on May 3 and home science in place of mathematics subject held in the first shift on May 5.
“As before, spastic visually impaired and such disabled candidates who are unable to write themselves will be allowed to keep a non-matric level writer by the District Education Officer and information related to this will also be made available to the committee office,” the board said.
For the first shift of the examination which will start at 9:30 am, the entry will be allowed only till 9 am and for the second shift of the examination which will start at 2 pm, the entry will be allowed only till 1:30 pm. Candidates arriving late will not be allowed entry, it added.
