Bihar NEET 2025 round 2 schedule revised after 200 seats increase for MBBS, BDS admissions

Download EBookThe Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has revised the Bihar NEET UG counselling 2025 round 2 schedule after the MBBS and BDS seats increased by 200. Candidates willing to change their preferences after the increase in seats can edit their choices from today onwards, till September 18, on the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
As per letters received from the Bihar health department, an increase of 100, 50 and 50 seats respectively has been recommended for enrollment in Madhubani Medical College and Hospital (MMC), Madhubani, Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital (NSMCH), Bihta, Patna and, Himalaya Medical College & Hospital (HMCH) Paliganj, Patna, which has been added to the available vacancies.
Bihar NEET counselling 2025 round 2 allotment date is yet to be announced.
Additionally, after the Bihar NEET round 1 allotment result was published, it came to the notice of the council during scrutiny that the reservation category of a total of 54 candidates was found to be different.

However, after verification, the allotted seats in round 1 counselling for 49 candidates, including 22 scheduled caste (SC) category candidates, were cancelled, and their previous category in the application filled for UGMAC 2025 was converted to unreserved. The seats allotted for such candidates have now become vacant and will be allotted in round 2 counselling based on merit cum choice.
All candidates of SC, ST, EBC, BC categories whose category was converted to unreserved due to the difference in reservation category in NEET UG 2025, consequently, there was a difference in their counselling fee and security deposit.
Candidates who wish to participate in round 2 counselling have to re-pay the amount of the counselling fee and security deposit online after logging into the portal. After successful payment, they can change their choices. If the amount was paid earlier through any transaction mode, it will be refunded to them. If the remaining amount is not paid, the counselling process will not be considered complete, and the security deposit will be forfeited.
