BPSC flags fake teacher appointment notice; advises students to rely on official updates

BPSC has warned students against a fake advertisement number 12/2026 showing online application dates related to school teacher appointments and advises them to rely on official sources only

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has cautioned students against a fake notice circulating online. The fake advertisement number 12/2026 shows online application dates related to teacher appointments for schools.

The commission has clarified that the information is completely fake and untrue and has not been issued by the BPSC. It has advised candidates not to consider it as official information without verifying its authenticity.

BPSC posted on its X and said: "A fake and misleading notice is being circulated on social media regarding the dates for online applications for the appointment to the posts of school teachers under Advertisement No.-12/2026, Education Department and Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department, Bihar."

Furthermore, BPSC added that verification of any information related to advertisements, application dates, or recruitment processes issued by the commission must be done only through the official sites or social media handles.

In this regard, it is clarified that candidates should not consider it as official information without verifying its authenticity.

Recently, the commission also flagged a fake notice regarding the 72nd combined competitive examination (CCE) preliminary exam and recruitment calendar for 2026.

Furthermore, verification for any information related to advertisements, application dates, or recruitment processes issued by the Commission must be done only through the official channels of BPSC.

Candidates are requested not to believe misleading, unconfirmed, or unauthorized information circulated on social media, and to follow only the official website and authorized social media channels of BPSC for updated information regarding exams or recruitment.
