A separate case was registered against the activists following a complaint from the school correspondent alleging they trespassed into the institution and carried out an attack, a police official said.

HYDERABAD: A case has been registered after parents alleged that a Hindi teacher at a private school in Nizamabad district was unauthorisedly teaching Urdu though it was not part of the syllabus and in violation of rules.
The incident, which came to light on June 27, led to protests from activists from the BJP and Hindu organisations, prompting an investigation by the Police, Revenue and Education department officials after visiting the school following the controversy.
A police official told PTI on Monday that a separate case was registered against the activists following a complaint from the school correspondent alleging they trespassed into the institution and carried out an attack.
He said the Tahsildar lodged a complaint that Urdu and Namaz were being taught in the school without necessary permissions, leading to a case being registered against the institution's Correspondent, Principal and the concerned teacher.
According to him, it is a violation of government rules to teach Urdu without obtaining required permissions. The education department is also inquiring into the matter. The campus houses two schools -- Bhavishya Darsini and Bharat Chandra -- in Armoor. Bhavishya Darsini hosts classes 1 to 7 and Bharat Chandra school handles classes 8 to 10.
Videos that have gone viral show primary class students stating that Urdu is taught to them daily at school, including note-taking exercises. Additionally, videos of activists arguing with and allegedly attacking school staff have also gone viral.
Tahsildar Satyanarayana, who visited the school following the row, had said it was preliminary found that Urdu was taught to primary class students without any permission from the government. The Principal had cooperated in teaching Urdu after he came to know about it, he said. Action would be taken as per the rules, he added.
