Use NowNEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 12: Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode has issued the guidelines which the candidates have to follow on the day of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019 which will be conducted on November 24.The guidelines are in the form of test day workflow which includes what all the candidate needs to do the moment he or she arrives at the test centre till the conclusion of the exam. It also includes the do’s and dont’s which the candidates must follow while at the test centre.

Exam Day Work flow for CAT 2019

Arrive at the CAT 2019 test centre before time

Locate the lab from the details mentioned on the notice lab

Get the CAT 2019 admit card scrutinized

Deposit all your belongings

Undergo the frisking which is compulsory

Get the necessary documents verified

Arrive at the lab or the block

Complete the biometric capture

Details Related to CAT 2019 Admit Card
Candidates must ensure that they carry the admit card on an A4-size Paper, preferably using a Laser Printer and affix the photograph in the space provided on the CAT admit card before handing over for verification at the Test Centre.
Biometric Verification
After the verification of requisite documents candidates will have to undergo biometric registration, wherein the left hand thumb impression and photograph will be captured.
Do’s and Dont’s for the Exam Day

Do’s for the exam day

Deposit all personal belongings such as mobile phone, jackets, jewellery, bag, wallets, watch, stationery items, electronic gadgets,etc. at the entrance gate of CAT 2019 test centre

Ensure that you extend all cooperation with the authorities at the time of document verification and frisking

Return Writing Pad with all pages along with the pen after the exam concludes

It is compulsory to provide your attendance in the Form with signature when asked for in the Exam Lab.
Dont’s For the Candidates
There are certain instructions which are mandatory for candidates to follow as they appear in CAT 2019 or else their candidature is likely to be cancelled.

Do not appear for the exam twice

Do not use the keyboard at any point of time as it will lock your computer system

Do not waste writing pages
-
Do not wear any jewelry (or any item(s) containing metal), jackets and footwear
inside the Exam Lab.
About CAT 2019
The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019 will be conducted in computer-based mode in two slots on November 24. All the candidates must ensure that they reach the test centre on time or else they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates who clear the exam they will be called for the next round of selection by the institutes which admit candidates on the basis of CAT score.
