CAT Exam 2021: Check answer key, question paper, result date, expected cut off

NEW DELHI- The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad conducted CAT 2021 exam in CBT mode on November 28. CAT exam 2021 was held at more than 400 test centres across 159 cities of the country. Approx 2.30 MBA aspirants have appeared for CAT 2021. As per the CAT analysis shared by students and experts, the CAT paper was moderately difficult. Candidates are now eagerly waiting for the release of the official CAT answer key and announcement of CAT result date and time.

Authorities are likely to release the CAT provisional answer key probably in the first week of December 2021. Along with the CAT answer key, authorities will release CAT 2021 question paper, individual CAT response sheets. Using these, candidates will get to know how many questions they have marked correct and incorrect and also calculate their probable CAT score. In case, candidates find any discrepancy in the official CAT exam answer key then they can raise objections against the same within a stipulated time.

Release of CAT official answer key 2021

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad will release the CAT answer key tentatively in the first week of December 2021. Candidates will be able to access the official CAT answer key on the official website of IIM CAT- iimcat.ac.in.

As per the trends, the official CAT answer keys are likely to be released within two days after the CAT exam. It is expected that the answer key of CAT 2021 will be available latest by December 1, 2021.

How to calculate CAT score 2021

To calculate a probable CAT 2021 score, candidates are required to know the CAT exam pattern and the marking scheme. This year, the no. of questions was reduced to 66 in the CAT exam. All these questions were asked as per the CAT syllabus, from Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA) sections. The CAT 2021 exam conducting body will announce the CAT 2021 result tentatively in the second week of January 2022. To download the CAT scorecard, candidates will have to use their CAT login details such as User ID and Password. CAT results will be valid for one year. CAT score 2021 is accepted by the 20 IIMs - IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Nagpur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Lucknow, etc and top MBA colleges like FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, SPJIMR Mumbai, SJMSoM IIT Mumbai, DoMS IIT Delhi, etc.
