CBSE Results 2026: Calculate Class 10 percentage from CGPA
CGPA Calculation : To estimate the subject-wise percentage of marks, multiply the grade points earned in each subject by 9.5. The example below illustrates how students can calculate their CGPA and convert it into an overall percentage.
Example: If your Grade Points for 5 main subjects are: 9, 8, 8, 7, 8
- Add these Grade points - 9+8+8+7+8 = 40 marks.
- Divide the total grade points earned by the total number of subjects, that is. 5
- So, 40 divided by 5 = 8
- Therefore, CGPA is 8
Convert CGPA into a Percentage :
- To convert your overall CGPA into a percentage, multiply it by 9.5
- For example, when the CGPA is 8, it should be multiplied by 9.5,
- Thus, 8 x 9.5 = 76%
