Apply NowNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 12 result 2023 CBSE today, May 12. Once they have obtained their subject-wise marks from either the official website of CBSE at cbseresults.nic.in, digilocker.com or the UMANG app, they can calculate their result percentages by either using online percentage calculators or even on pen-and-paper. How to calculate CBSE Class 12 result 2023 percentage?

Visit the official website of CBSE at cbseresults.nic.in or DigiLocker or UMANG app and download your marksheet

Add the marks secured in five main subjects

Divide this value by 500 – the total marks for each subject is 100

If you have an additional subject; add the marks secured in all 6 subjects
-
Divide this value by 600
-
The result will be in decimals. Multiply that by 100 to obtain final result percentage

The resulting value is your percentage of CBSE Class 12 result 2023

For admissions and higher education eligibility purposes, the percentage score in the best four subjects is typically considered.
There are several online percentage calculator tools including percentagecalculator.net and calculator.net.
This year the number of candidates who are placed in compartment exams is 1,25,705. The CBSE Class 12 compartment exams date 2023 is expected to be conducted shortly now the result has been declared.
Students can also access their Class 12 result 2023 CBSE through DigiLocker using 6-digit security pin.
