This year, the board has implemented an On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for evaluating Class 12 board exam answer sheets. Under this process, answer scripts are scanned and assessed digitally on a secure platform, cbse.onmark.co.in, instead of being checked in physical form.
The CBSE conducted the Class 12 board examinations for science, commerce, and arts streams from February 17 to April 10. However, the practical exams were conducted between January 1 and February 14, 2026 for regular schools.
