The CBSE Class 12 computer science exam conducted was “well-balanced and student-friendly,” and aligned with the CBSE syllabus and sample papers. The paper was “moderate” in difficulty level, with a good mix of competency-based and direct questions.
CBSE board Class 12th exam 2026 began on February 17 and will end on April 10.
As per the student feedback, the CBSE 12 computer science paper 2026 was “easy” to understand, and students were able to attempt it “smoothly.” CS paper was “moderate” difficulty level, and the MCQ-based questions focused on logical concepts and conceptual understanding.
Overall, the paper was aligned with the CBSE Class 12 computer science curriculum.
The section-wise analysis for the CBSE 12th CS paper, as per subject experts from JAIN International Residential School Bengaluru, is as follows:
“Overall, this is a commendable paper that fairly assesses students across all difficulty levels and topic areas,” the subject experts added.
Class 12 IP paper was “well-structured” and aligned with the prescribed CBSE syllabus. It was student-friendly in nature, favoring a clear understanding of fundamental concepts over rote learning. The questions were highly inclusive, covering all topics from Data Handling using Pandas to SQL Queries and Computer Networks.
“The language used in the questions was direct, reducing the risk of students misinterpreting the requirements,” another subject expert said.
