CBSE Board Exam 2023: 100 fake YouTube links removed; action against those spreading paper-leak rumours
CBSE alerts public against fake news, rumors on paper leaks that lure students, parents to make payment in exchange for fake question papers.

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has alerted students and parents of the actions that the board took to ensure smooth conduct of CBSE Class 10 exams. The board has taken the matter seriously and has taken strict action against those violating rules.
CBSE took action against those persons that made false claims of CBSE question paper leaks on social media to disturb the exam atmosphere by sending fake messages and links to students and teachers to get papers on payment.

The board has also informed that it took down several fake YouTube links to avoid misleading students and parents. CBSE has lodges complaints with the Delhi Police Special Cell (MAC) to strict action against such people under provisions of the IPC and IT Acts.
"CBSE is committed to fair conduct of examinations. It is again reiterated that CBSE will take action against a student under UNFAIR MEANS rules and various sections of IPC, if found spreading fake news," read a CBSE notice. The authorities therefore, alerts public against such misleading and unverified sources and requests everyone to not participate in spreading wrong information.
In recent news, CBSE concluded the Class 10 examination for nearly 21.87 lakh students yesterday, March 21, 2023. Class 12 students will end their exams on April 5, 2023 with the psychology paper.
