As per the CBSE notice issued earlier, the weightage of CBSE term 1 and term 2 will be decided at the time of declaration of the CBSE term 2 result for both Class 10 and 12. The CISCE board has also not announced the weightage for the board exams 2022. This year, some of the board have decided to conduct the board exams 2022 in two terms.
Alleging that many schools adopted "unfair means and malpractices" while marking students during CBSE Term 1 examinations, some private schools have also urged CBSE to reduce the CBSE term 1 weightage .
‘Reduce board exam 2022 term 1 weightage’
Meanwhile, a notice claiming the weightage of CBSE term 1 and term 2 examination will be 30 and 70 percent respectively, was circulating on social media. The CBSE board had, however, clarified that the notice is fake and that it has not issued any notice on CBSE term 1 and 2 weightage.
The request for an update on board exam weightage for both the terms have been flooding social media after the CBSE declared the CBSE term 1 results 2022.
A student wrote on Twitter, “Are you sure the 70 will save you? What if this term results are bad too. What will happen then. Cry again pleading kisi pls cbse now pls consider from internals. It's not too late now. Demand for internals weightage should be given.”

“For the quality of online classes in last year, offline exams are not justified for CBSE as well as State Boards Students! More Weightage to #InternalAssessment #BestOfTerm2CBSE Must be considered for All state boards as well as CBSE and other Boards as well!” another student said.

“I hope cbse reduces weightage of term 1 at least by 10%, considering the cheating done, unfairness in paper sets etc. Reducing weightage will also give everyone a second chance rather than them already losing hope.(I got 85%),” a student said.
