NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start the CBSE Board 10th, 12th exams 2023 today, February 15. The CBSE board has already issued the admit card of Class 10 and Class 12 students on its official website-- cbse.gov.in. The CBSE Class 10 board exams will be held for 76 subjects till March 21, whereas Class 12 exams will be conducted for 115 subjects till April 5. CBSE Class 12 Exams Live

As per the official CBSE release, about 38,83,710 lakh students will appear in the CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams 2023. As many as 21,86,940 students will write CBSE 10th board exam and 16,96,770 students will write the CBSE 12 board exam 2023. As per the CBSE exam day guidelines, students are required to report at the examination centre before 10 am. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall/room after the stipulated timeline.

CBSE board exam 2023: Items allowed to carry

The students should avoid carrying barred items inside the exam hall. The CBSE board has allowed the following items inside the exam hall

  • CBSE admit card 2023 - Class 10 or Class 12
  • School identity card
  • Permissible stationery items

CBSE board exam 2023: Key points

  • CBSE has instructed students to report at the examination centre in school uniform and with school identity card along with CBSE admit card 2023.
  • Students are only allowed to carry the permissible stationery items.
  • Items like mobile phones with GPS, communication devices, electronic items or barred items are strictly prohibited to carry at the examination centre.
  • Students will be given 15 minutes of reading time to read the question paper.
  • The candidates are suggested to strictly adhere to the important instructions mentioned on the CBSE admit card 2023.
  • Examinees will be allowed to leave the examination centre only after the completion of the exam timings.
  • CBSE has warned students to refrain from spreading rumours and hosting any material on social websites including WhatsApp, YouTube, Twitter etc.
