According to the CBSE Class 10 Hindi question paper analysis, the overall difficulty level was moderate, allowing well-prepared students to attempt the question paper with confidence.
Rajanee Shrimali, TGT Hindi at Witty International School, said the question paper was well-structured and aligned with the syllabus.
“The CBSE Class 10 Hindi question paper was balanced, fair and student-friendly. It focused on comprehension, expression and conceptual clarity. The questions were clearly designed and encouraged analytical thinking, meaningful language use and genuine understanding,” she said.

CBSE Class 10 Hindi Paper 2026: Manageable, scoring
Another Class 10 student, Maria Teen, said most of the questions came directly from the syllabus and were easy to understand.
“The Class 10th Hindi paper was moderate and manageable. The questions were clear and direct, and the reading section focused on comprehension and explanation. The writing section was a bit time-consuming, but I completed the questionnaire comfortably,” she said.
She added that completing the Hindi paper boosted his confidence for the remaining CBSE Class 10 board exams .
According to Kiran Soni, Hindi Department Head at Delhi Public School, Gurgaon, the Class 10th Hindi paper was well-balanced and covered all units.
“The unseen passages were clear, and the MCQs were easy to attempt. The grammar questions were straightforward, and the literature questions were well-linked to the syllabus and clearly designed. The creative writing section was easy overall, although the email writing task seemed a bit unfamiliar to some students,” she said.
She added that the short story writing topic was interesting and helped the students express their creativity.
CBSE Class 10 Hindi paper competency-based
Lalit Sharma, subject matter expert at Seth M.R. Jaipuria Schools, said the CBSE 10th Hindi question paper reflected a clear shift towards competency-based assessment.
“This year's question paper reflected the dominance of skill-based questions. As per the CBSE board's guidelines, the questions focused on logical and conceptual understanding and assessed the students' functional use of language,” he said.
He added that the paper was balanced and effectively assessed both linguistic knowledge and the practical application of Hindi.
