CBSE invites lists of candidates for Term-1 board exams 2021-22

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked schools to submit the list of candidates eligible to appear for term-1 board exams scheduled to be held in November or December.

According to the official notification, the data collection for eligible candidates through LOC will begin from September 17. Schools should submit LOC through the e-pariksha link given on the CBSE official website - cbse.gov.in.

CBSE has advised schools to make correct and timely submission of the list of candidates.

Schools should only sponsor their own regular and bonafide students. Students should not belong to unaffiliated schools and should not be registered to any other school board. Also, they should be attending classes regularly, the CBSE statement said.

Schools can submit the list of candidates in online mode only. CBSE will not consider offline submission. There will be no correction window for editing the data that has already been uploaded, the CBSE statement said.

Schools should register themselves before submitting the online data by using the affiliation number available to them as their registration number.

Schools that have been affiliated recently, should contact the Regional Office to get the password. While submitting the data, the schools should select the subject code and subject combination with precautions.

CBSE Online Affiliated School Information System (OASIS) data should be submitted by schools by September 29. Any correction or modification done by schools will be strictly observed by the Regional Officers of CBSE.

However, as mentioned before, no data can be corrected or edited once the school has submitted the data. Schools should also take a printout of the final LOC and obtain the signature of the candidate, his or her mother, and father to confirm the details.

There will be no extension of any date and schools will have to fill all the information correctly, the CBSE said.
