Try NowNEW DELHI, MARCH 1: National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur will be conducting Centralized Counselling for M.Tech. / M.Arch./ M.Plan.admissions (CCMT) 2018. NIT Jalandhar has announced that the registration process of CCMT 2018 will be open from April 3. Interested applicants will be able to fill and submit the online application form till May 8, 2018. Along with the registration, choice filling process will also commence. Notification regarding CCMT 2018 will be released on March 6, 2018 by the authorities. Along with the application dates, NIT Jamshedpur has also announced the various dates related to the admission process.
During registration, the applicants will have to pay the determined application fee though SBI MOPS (i.e. net banking/credit card/debit card or e-challan at any SBI Branch). Without paying the fee, the application form will not be submitted. The application fee is different as per the category of the applicant. OC/OB category applicants will have to pay Rs. 2200 while SC/ST/PwD category applicants will have to pay Rs. 1700. Before registration, applicants are requested to check the eligibility criteria to know whether they are eligible for CCMT admission process or not.

- Notification of CCMT 2018 : March 26, 2018
- Start of Registration and Choice Filling : April 3, 2018
- Final Date for Registration and Payment of Fee : May 8, 2018
- Last Date for Choice Filling: May 14, 2018
- Locking of Choices: May 8 to 14, 2018
It is essential for all of the applicants to register for CCMT. Unregistered applicants will not be allowed to participate in the M.Tech admission process into the participating NITs and CFTIs. All of the information submitted must be valid and if found incorrect or untrue, the allotted seat will be cancelled by the authorities. Detailed GATE information has to provided since allotment will be done based on their merit in this examination. Another factor which will affect the seat allotment is the order of preferred courses and colleges selected during choice filling. Therefore, the applicants are advised to be careful while filling their choices after registration.
CCMT will be conducting the seat allotment process for the registered applicants in online mode. All admissions will be done based on the GATE scores of the applicants. CCMT is held annually to provide admissions into the M.Tech courses offered by the 40 participating NITs and CFTIs.
