NEW DELHI: Puducherry Directorate of Higher and Technical Education has extended the last date to submit the application form for non-NEET courses such as BTech, BSc, BPharm, LLB under the sports quota to June 10. The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has also issued the revised list of eligible sports disciplines. As per the revised list, a total of 65 types of sports will be considered for granting admission under meritorious sports quota.
The CENTAC registration deadline 2024 has been extended “in order to provide adequate time to candidates belonging to newly added sports discipline and also to honor the requests received from various other applicants who have already registered but have not completed their application due to delay in getting Revenue certificates,” the committee said.
However, those who have completed their registration before May 31 will be freezed with effect from June 1 and no more editing facilities will be provided. If discrepancies are found during the registration process in the already submitted application form, it will be intimated to the candidates through the dashboards. Applicants will also be given enough time to rectify the error in the admission form.
Candidates who became eligible under any of the newly added sports disciplines have been instructed to submit their request through the grievance option available on their dashboard on CENTAC portal along with their sports certificates.
“For more details candidates can visit the website www.centacpuducherry.in or submit queries through Grievances option in Login Dashboard or contact the Helpline No: 0413-2655570,” it said.
