Chartered Financial Analyst exam August level 1 result 2023 has recorded a pass percentage at 37%.
NEW DELHI: The CFA Institute has announced the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) August level-1 results 2023. The individual CFA results 2023 are now available on the official website, cfainstitute.org. The level 1 pass percentage of CFA has dropped this year compared to previous exam and the 10-year average.
This year, the pass rate of CFA August level 1 exam 2023 has dropped by 2 percentage points at 37%. The average pass percentage of the last 10 years is 41%.
The Level I exam consists of 180 multiple choice questions, split into two sessions. Each session was held for a duration of 2 and a half hours.
“The CFA Program is a three-part exam that tests the fundamentals of investment tools, valuing assets, portfolio management, and wealth planning. CFA charter holders are qualified to work in senior and executive positions in investment management, risk management, asset management, and more,” the institute said.

Candidates who have been declared qualified level 1 and meet CFA programme enrollment requirements will be eligible for level-2. CFA level 2 exams will be held in vignette-supported multiple choice questions format. The results are declared within 5-7 weeks of taking the exam and completion of your practical skills module.
