CGPSC SSE prelims result 2024 declared at psc.cg.gov.in; 3,597 candidates qualify for mains

NEW DELHI: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has declared the GPSC State Service Examination (SSE) prelims result 2024 today, March 22. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access and download the CGPSC prelims result by visiting the official website, psc.cg.gov.in. The CGPSC SSE prelims 2024 exam was held on February 11.
The CGPSC state service exam selection process includes prelims, mains, and interview rounds. According to the CGPSC prelims result 2024, a total of 3,597 have been shortlisted to appear for mains. The CGPSC mains 2024 is scheduled to be held from June 24 to 27.
CGPSC Mains 2024: Exam pattern
Candidates shortlisted for the main examination are required to sit for all seven papers. In CGPSC main exam 2024, each paper will carry a total of 200 marks. The duration of each paper will be 2 hours. Each paper will have 5 sections.
Section 1 of the CGPSC mains paper has a total of 20 questions. For each correct answer candidates will get 2 points. The section carries a total of 40 marks. Each question has a word limit of around 30 words for the response.
Section 2 will carry 40 marks in total and each answer has a word limit of 60 words. Section 3 will comprise of 10 questions worth 4 marks each. Section 4 will include 3 questions out of which candidates can choose to attempt any 2. Each question carries 20 marks and the word limit for each answer is 250.
The 5th section carries 2 questions out of which candidates have to answer to attempt any one. The word limit for the answer is 500 and the question carries 40 marks.
