Check NowNEW DELHI: Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has declared the Assam HS result 2020. The result has been released on the official result website, ahsec.nic.in. This year around 2.4 lakh students have appeared in the Assam higher secondary examination. Assam HS result 2020 highlights
Science Stream
-
A total of 39,574 students have appeared in the examination from the Science stream. Out of which, 16928 Students have secured first division.

The overall pass percentage of Science Stream is 88.06%.

The pass percentage of girls is 94.33% while the passing percentage of boys is 91.09%.

A total of 25 students have secured top 10 ranks.
-
Sivasagar is the best performing district.
Commerce Stream
-
17713 students have appeared in the examination. The pass percentage of commerce stream is 88.18%.

Girls recorded the pass percentage of 93.85% while for boys it was 89.55%. A total of 23 students were in top 10 positions.

3870 students have secured first division.

Chirang, Majuli and West Karbi Anglong districts are the best performing districts with 100% pass percentage.
Arts Stream

In the Arts stream, 168,367 students have appeared out of which 78.28% have successfully passed the examination.

The girls recorded a pass percentage of 85.02% whereas the pass percentage of boys is 78.63%.

Darrang district is the best performing district with 89.07% overall passing percentage.
