The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 tomorrow, May 3, across 552 cities in India and 14 international cities. The NEET exam will be held in offline (pen-and-paper) mode in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Candidates appearing for the UG medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), AYUSH (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS), Nursing entrance exam can download the NEET 2026 admit card from the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can access the NEET admit card 2026 using their application number and date of birth.
The NEET 2026 admit card was issued on April 26 and is a mandatory document to carry to the exam centre. Without the hall ticket, candidates will not be allowed to enter the centre.

The NEET entrance exam will be conducted for 3 hours and 20 minutes (200 minutes) and consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), out of which 180 must be answered. The NEET question paper carries a total of 720 marks.
As per the NEET marking scheme, 4 marks will be given for each correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
According to the NEET 2026 reporting time, candidates will reach the exam centre between 11 am and 1:30 pm, and no entry will be allowed after 1:30 pm.
The list of documents that candidates need to carry to the NEET exam centre is given below.
Students must carry the required post card size photo for NEET as mentioned in the admit card instructions. This photo will be used for attendance and verification purposes.
Candidates are not permitted to bring electronic devices, calculators, bluetooth devices, earphones, pagers, manuscripts, smartwatches, or any other prohibited items into the NEET examination hall.

According to the NEET UG 2026 exam instructions, the NEET UG 2026 will be a pen-and-paper exam held on May 3, 2026. Candidates should report between 11 am and 1:30 pm, and entry will close strictly at 1:30 pm. Students must carry their NEET 2026 admit card, a valid ID proof, and a passport-size photograph. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has removed the cap of 150 MBBS seats per medical college and also scrapped the population-based restriction for seat approval. This allows colleges to increase MBBS seats based on their infrastructure and facilities.
The NMC has also revised the hospital distance rule, stating that the hospital must be within 10 km of the medical college. The changes aim to expand medical education and improve the availability of doctors in India.

The agency has said it will take strict action against anyone sharing false information.
