CLAT exam analysis by Rajneesh Singh, CLAT Mentor and founder of CLAT Essentials

"Great success. CLAT conduction has been very smooth" said CLAT expert Rajneesh Singh in his first reaction on the national law entrance exam.

As per Mr Singh, a majority of candidates may have attempted many questions but the accuracy will the important factor in deciding the marks. Many serious students looked little less confidant about the accuracy in CLAT 2020.

The sections containing General knowledge was a little offbeat whereas English and legal looked easy to moderate.

Commenting on CLAT Legal aptitude, the expert said it was a little different from what was coming in the sample papers. Questions in this section looked a little traditional.

Data interpretation section was simple but other questions in quantitative ability were moderate.

Overall analysis

The CLAT 2020 was as per the guidelines and structure announced by the Consortium in its recent notification. However,  the nature of questions was different from that of the sample papers. Overall, CLAT 2020 was moderate to tough.

CLAT expected cut off

Based on the present feedback, the CLAT cut off for admissions to top 5 colleges maybe around 85 to 95 marks.

Complete CLAT 2020 analysis including expected cut off will be published soon at careers360 official website
