The CLAT 2025 was conducted on December 1 and results were announced on December 7. The CLAT 2025 result are under judicial review due to errors in the final answer key. On December 20, the Delhi High Court directed the Consortium of NLUs to revise the CLAT 2025 results , citing mistakes in the evaluation.
The court noted that ignoring these errors would lead to injustice. It specifically identified mistakes in two questions—14 and 100—in Set A of the CLAT 2025 exam. As a result, the answer to question 14 was updated to option C, while question 100 was withdrawn.
CLAT 2025 Hearing: Petitioner’s argument for further revision
Aditya Singh, the petitioner, has challenged the court’s partial acceptance of his objections. While the single-judge bench upheld two of his claims, it dismissed three others. He argues that errors also exist in questions 37, 67, and 68 of Set A and is seeking further revision of the final answer key and CLAT results 2025 .
CLAT 2025 Court Case: Consortium of NLUs’ response
As per the Consortium of NLUs, the CLAT 2025 final answer key was carefully reviewed by experts before posting. Following the Delhi High Court's ruling on December 24, the Consortium announced its intention to challenge the decision in the Supreme Court.
CLAT 2025 counselling
Due to the ongoing legal proceedings, the Consortium has postponed the CLAT 2025 counselling process. It has delayed the release of the first admission list, initially set for December 26. The CLAT 2025 counselling schedule will be out after Delhi HC’s decision on result revision.
