NEW DELHI: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 will be held on December 1. The CLAT exam is the gateway to top law schools across the country. Around 75,000 candidates have registered for the undergraduate and postgraduate entrance exam this year.
For CLAT exam 2025, the National Law University and Judicial Academy (NLUJA), Assam has revised the seat matrix and added the following reservations to the UG, PG programmes: EWS of Assam and Wards of Defense Personnel posted in Assam.
Moreover, the Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) has added the Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) and allowed domicile candidates to apply, at Mumbai, Aurangabad, and Nagpur campuses.
The India International University of Legal Education and Research (IIULER) Goa, established by the Bar Council of India (BCI), joined the consortium and will now take admissions through CLAT, starting from the upcoming session. The institute reserves 20 per cent seats for candidates from Goa.
Dr Rajendra Prasad National Law University, Prayagraj (RPNLUP) has also decided to admit students to its undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes through CLAT exam, starting from the academic session 2025-26.
