Students should have passed the class 12th exam or equivalent exam in 2020 or 2021. The minimum class 12th percent requirement has been removed by the NTA this time for the JEE Main exam.

The overall difficulty level of Chemistry exam was Moderate level. The Physical Chemistry has a slight edge over Inorganic and Organic Chemistry. There were Numerical Based questions asked out of Physical Chemistry. Candidates found questions from Chemistry in Everyday Life Mole Concept, s – block & p- block, Coordination Chemistry.

The overall difficulty level of Mathematics exam was Moderately Tough. There were questions asked from all chapters with emphasis on Chapters of Conic Sections, Calculus. There were questions asked from Chapters like Matrices, 3 D Geometry, Mathematical Reasoning, Functions, Limits, Area under Curves, Definite Integrals, Parabola, Ellipse, Circle. However, Numerical Section had lengthy calculations. Candidates also reported some questions as Tricky.

The overall difficulty level of Physics exam was Easy. Questions were asked from Electrostatics, Magnetism, Current Electricity, Modern Physics, Rotational Motion, Kinematics, Heat & Thermodynamics. There were Numerical based questions but easy. There were also some fact-based questions from class XII chapters of NCERT.

The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Mains) is a national-level entrance examination conducted for various UG courses such as B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning for various institutes across the country. The difficulty level of the physics section was of moderate level for JEE Main 2022 June 26 shift 1.

The chemistry for JEE Main 2022 paper 1 was easy. The questions were mostly from NCERT based. Questions were asked from subjects like polymer, biomolecules. Mostly theory asked was more from organic chemistry.

Students rate mathematics as tough. The questions were lengthy. Keeping in line with trend of previous shifts.

JEE Mains 2021 Marks vs Percentile

NTA is conducting the JEE Main 2022 session 1 examination on the following dates June 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29. The exam is being conducted in two shifts for each day. JEE Main shift 1 timings are 9 AM to 12 Noon while shift 2 timings are 3 PM to 6PM.

The day 4 JEE Main 2022 June 26 shift 1 exam has commenced at 9 AM, today. Students appearing for the JEE Main session 1 for June 26 shift 1 exam will only be allowed to exit the examination hall after the conclusion of the shift 1 i.e. 12 Noon.

Students have to maintain perfect silence inside the examination hall. Any conversation or gesture or disturbance in the examination hall will be considered as misbehavior. If students are found using unfair means or impersonating someone else, their candidature shall be cancelled and they will be debarred from taking JEE Main exam either permanently or for a specified period.

Students appearing for JEE Main 2022 exam must know that the NTA has not prescribed any specific dress code for JEE Mains 2022. However, students are advised to wear normal and comfortable clothes and avoid carrying any kind of metallic item to the exam centre. JEE Mains 2022 Exam Timing for paper 1

The entry into the JEE Main exam centres is now open. The JEE Main 2022 June 26 shift 1 is scheduled to start at 9 AM. Students can gain entry into the examination centre and take their allotted seat for the exam to avoid any last minute hassle.

Students need to carry the following documents at the JEE Mains exam centre 2022: 

• JEE Main 2022 hall ticket along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) form.
• Extra Passport size photograph for pasting on the JEE Main 2022 attendance sheet. 
• A transparent black/ blue ball point pen. 
• Diabetic students need to carry their own sugar tablets/ fruits (like banana/apple/orange).
• Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).
• Face mask by students and their scribe (if any).
• Transparent drinking water bottle.

Candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2022 exam need to follow all the COVID-19 protocols as set by the authorities and the Government of India at the exam centres. Some of the coronavirus guidelines are mentioned below.

• Students need to carry a duly filled JEE Main 2022 Self Declaration (Undertaking) form which can be downloaded from the NTA Website.
• Candidates should carry their personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).
• Social distancing must be maintained in and outside the examination hall.
• Students can carry personal drinking water in a transparent bottle.
• In case the student is diabetic sugar tablets/ fruits (like banana/ apple/ orange).

JEE Main 2022 is mandatory for all engineering aspirants. Students who qualify the JEE Mains exam will be eligible to get admissions in BTech, BE, BArch, BPlan and Integrated courses in good engineering institutions like National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other private colleges/ institutes.

Candidates wanting to appear for the JEE Main session 2 2022 which is to be conducted in the month of July, students can register for the same in online mode till June 30, 2022. The session 2 JEE Main 2022 exam is scheduled to be held from July 21 to 30, 2022. While JEE Main June 2022 session is being held for the following dates June 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29, 2022.

Below mentioned are the JEE Main exam day guidelines 2022 which every student needs to adhere to on the day of examination.

• Students are advised to reach the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in JEE Main 2022 admit card
• No student will be allowed entry in JEE Main exam centre 2022 after gate closing time and they  will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the conclusion of the exam.
• Students wearing anything for religious reasons are advised to reach the exam centre early to undergo thorough checking and frisking.
• Students need to carry the JEE Main admit card 2022 along with other required documents to the exam centre. Those who do not possess the JEE Mains hall ticket will not be permitted to appear for the examination by the Centre Superintendent.
• Students have to fill a self-declaration form, paste their passport sized photograph and put the left hand thumb impression in the provided space.
• Students should follow the JEE Main instructions as told by the centre superintendent/ invigilators.
• Pen/ Pencil and blank paper of rough work will be provided to the students by the authorities.
• Students claiming PwD reservation need to carry a PwD certificate issued by the competent authority.

NTA is going to hold the Day 4 JEE Main 2022 examination for BTech/ BE courses on June 26 Today. The exam will be conducted in two shifts - shift 1 between 9 AM to 12 Noon and shift 2 from 3 PM to 6 PM.
