CMR University to host international conference on management, data analytics

The conference will be a gathering of researchers, academicians for management, data analytics, statistics on October 20 and 21, 2022.
NEW DELHI: Challa Malla Reddy (CMR) University's School of Management (SOM) will be hosting the international conference on management and data analytics (ICOMDA) 2022 on October 20 and 21, 2022. The conference will be held at the University's OMBR campus, Bangalore in association with Ariel University, Israel, operations research society of India (ORSI)- Bangalore chapter and association of management development institutions of south Asia (AMDISA).
The goal of the event is to broaden research by promoting exchange of ideas among industry professionals, researchers and academicians in domains including management, data analytics, statistics among others. The university will organise a pre-conference workshop by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), chief research assistant in the department of management studies, M Mathiranjan on data analytics on October 19.
Over 150 delegates including faculty members for highly-ranked Indian Business Schools, various research scholars from the management industry and corporate executives from different industries from all over India, and from countries like Israel, the USA, Canada, Malaysia, Kenya, and Bangladesh have already registered for the conference.

The researchers on the panel will present their research papers and posters on the theme of the conference in hybrid mode (online and offline). ICOMDA will be giving a global platform to the participants to impart their research ideas on latest business issues and challenges in the fields mentioned above.
Rooting for the upcoming event, SOM, Dean, R Sugant said: “Managing the typical business is increasingly becoming complex. The present-day business environment can be aptly summarised by the acronym “BANI” - Brittle, Anxious, Non-linear, and Incomprehensible. Digital and analytics are key ammunition that will help management professionals navigate the BANI world. The conference will deliberate on the advances in the areas of management and data analytics and how these can be used to achieve organisational success. It will also provide a platform for management professionals from academia and industry to share their learnings. Ariel University of Israel and Operations Research Society of India - Bengaluru chapter are providing scholarly support as knowledge partners for the conference.”
