AICTE asked technical universities to consider grade 10, 12 of Veda Sanskrit board on par with CBSE, state boards 10th, 12th for admissions 2022.

NEW DELHI: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has asked vice-chancellors of technical universities and directors, principals of AICTE-approved institutions to consider Veda Bhushan and Veda Vibhushan certifications awarded to candidates by Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Ved Vidya Pratisthan (MSRVVP) equivalent to Class 10, 12 certificates issued by the central and state boards of education for admissions 2022.
AICTE issued a notification on equivalence of Grade 10 and 12 board examinations and qualification courses conducted by the Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda Sanskrit Shiksha Board (MSRVSSB), under Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Ved Vidya Pratisthan (MSRWP), Ujjain with examination, qualification, courses conducted by other central, state school boards of India for the purpose of admission in higher education institutions and employment in central, state government organizations, bodies.

“MSRVVP has set up a board under the name "Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda Sanskrit Shiksha Board (MSRVSSB)" under Rule 14(iv)(D of the Rules under the MoA of MSRVVP. Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India in consultation with National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), have concurred with the various Bye-laws and Statutory requirements for the Board and recognised the aforesaid Board for school Education,” read an official notification from AICTE.
Association of Indian Universities (AIU), which is the body designated by the Govemment of India for according equivalence to school boards in India, vide its letter, has accorded equivalence for Grade 10 and Grade 12 Board examination qualifications of Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda Sanskrit Shiksha Board (MSRVSSB) that shall function as a regular school Board within India, as per the official notification.
