CSIR NET June 2024 cut-off by October 15, says HRDG amid candidates’ demands for early release

NEW DELHI: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) June 2024 cut-offs will be announced by October 15, said the Human Resource Development Group (HRDG) on social media. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the CSIR UGC NET results 2024 on September 13.

"The CSIR UGC NET June 2024 exam results are expected to be announced latest by 15th October 24," said HRDG-CSIR in a post on X.

The overall attendance for CSIR NET June 2024 exam was recorded at 72.57 percent. Of 2.25 lakh candidates who registered for the exam, 1.63 lakh appeared. Along with the CSIR NET result 2024, the testing agency released the scorecards of candidates.

It is expected that now with the CSIR NET cut-off 2024, NTA will also release the number of candidates who qualified the exam. The June edition of the CSIR UGC NET exam was held on July 25, 26, and 27 in two shifts at 348 examination centres across the country.

CSIR UGC NET Results 2024: Candidates fret over delay

Several aspirants of CSIR NET exam thanked the HRDG CSIR for the update, however, called out the management for the delay in release of cut-offs despite result declaration. Candidates expressed concern about delay in PhD admissions as a result.

“First of all a huge thanks for responding after so many days of trying. But 15 October will be so late that we will miss many PhD admission opportunities. Earlier you guys have given cut off within 6 days from scorecard and it's been around 3 weeks from scorecard, still delay,” a candidate said in a post on X.

Another candidate demanded early release and wrote, “Thank you for responding. But If these results will be declared by 15th october we are going to miss the chance of applying for PHD in many IITS as their last date is before 15th. It's a humble request please try to release the cutoff before 15th october.”

“Thanks to the officials for responding ( at least !! ). Please release the result as soon as possible, otherwise we are going to miss opportunities for phd admission in Jan Session!,” posted an aspirant.

Another aspirant sarcastically commented, “Thank you for responding so soon. Extend the last date of PhD in IITs and all other universities. If it can't be done then what's GOOD in NEP-2020. We're still lacking in execution.”

“First delaying the exam by one month and then delaying the result by another one month.. Interesting! Btw you should have mentioned the result announcement date on information bulletin itself..Why do students have to live through unnecessary trauma, suspense?,” wrote an X user.
