CSIR Recruitment 2023: Last date to submit the application form is December 23.
NEW DELHI: The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) -Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB) has invited applications for 444 section officer and assistant section officer posts.
The last date to fill the application form for these positions is December 23. Interested candidates can register and submit the application form on the official website, igib.res.in.
This recruitment drive is being held to fill 444 vacancies, 368 of which are for the position of assistant section officer and 76 for the position for section officer.
Candidates who are applying for the position of technical assistant must hold a BSc (Life sciences) or equivalent degree with minimum 60 per cent marks and one year of relevant work experience from a recognised organisation. The upper age limit of the candidates is 28 years.
The selection process involves two stages. Candidates will be required to appear for a trade test conducted by the organisation. Those who pass the trade test will be eligible to sit for the competitive written examination, and the final merit list will be determined based on the candidate's performance in the competitive written examination.

- Visit to the official website – igib.res.in
- On the homepage, click on the link that reads “Technical grade III advertisement 2023”.
- Register yourself with required details.
- Login with the credentials generated during the registration process.
- Upload all the documents online.
- Pay the application fee.
- Submit the CSIR-IGIB application form.
- Save and take a print out of the confirmation page for future reference.
