NTA: Students can download the CSIR UGC NET 2026 answer keys, response sheet, and raise challenges on the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the CSIR UGC NET 2026 June session answer key today. Candidates can download the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET 2026) June answer key on the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in. Students can object to the CSIR provisional answer keys 2026 before August 18.

If candidates find any discrepancies in the CSIR NET 2026 provisional answer key, they can raise objections before deadline specified.

To challenge an answer, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. The objections will then be reviewed by the subject experts before the CSIR UGC NET 2026 final answer key is released.

NTA conducted the CSIR NET 2026 exams on July 17 and 18.

CSIR UGC NET Answer Key 2026: How to challenge?

The steps to challenge the CSIR UGC NET answer key 2026 are shown in the table below.

  • Visit the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, click on the tab ‘Challenge/s regarding Answer Key’ at the bottom.
  • Enter the required login information.
  • ‘Question IDs in sequential order’ will be displayed on the screen.
  • CSIR UGC NET answer key 2026 is indicated by the ID next to the question in the column ‘Correct Option.'
  • By selecting one or more of the Option IDs listed in the next four columns and clicking the checkbox, challenge a specific option.
  • Continue to the next screen by selecting ‘Save your Claim.'
  • Upload supporting documents by selecting ‘Choose File' and uploading them
  • Click on ‘Save your Claim'.
  • Pay the challenge fee.

Students will find exam name, exam date, subject ID, shift name, question ID, correct option ID and other relevant information on the CSIR UGC NET 2026 June provisional answer key PDF.

Notably, nearly 1.5 lakh students appeared for the June session exam , marking the overall attendance of nearly 80%. NTA conducts CSIR UGC NET exams twice a year to determine eligibility for the award of junior research fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor, and PhD admission in science and technology fields across institutions in India.
