Understand child development and pedagogy section: The segment on child development and pedagogy covers the basics of being a successful teacher. In order to get good marks in the paper, candidates have to ace this section. For the child development and pedagogy portion, candidates are advised to plan separately.

Know where you are lacking: Aspirants can usually check their preparations, this way, candidates would be able to figure out where they are lacking in the subjects and concepts. Prepare according to your weak areas.

Read the national curriculum framework (NCF) 2005 and its position papers: A child-centred approach to teaching is preferred by the Indian education system. The NCF 2005 provides the best education practises in India with thorough descriptions of how each subject should be taught. Going through the National Curriculum Process will allow applicants to properly prepare for the exam.

Practise more and more: Last but not the least, the best and most trusted way to achieve good marks is practice. Practice daily with different CTET sample papers. As a part of CTET preparation tips, take mock tests to get more idea about the exam.
