CUCET 2018 Application process commences; Apply before March 26

New Delhi: The application process of CUCET 2018 has commenced on February 19 late night, as pre-scheduled. According to the admission brochure, candidates can apply and submit the application form till March 26, 2018. The candidates are needed to apply for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test online only as no offline applications will be accepted. Interested candidates can apply for 48 undergraduate and 228 postgraduate programmes on offer across 10 Central Universities and Dr B R Ambedkar School of Economics.

Candidates will need also to pay an application fee of Rs. 800 (Rs. 350 for SC/ST and No fee for PwD category). The application fee can be paid using any of the options– Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/Bank Challan.
Further, according to the CUCET application procedure, a candidate can apply for a maximum of three Central Universities and select up to three programmes in each university through an application form.
The CUCET committee has also provided an ‘Add-On’ facility by which a candidate can apply for another three Central Universities and choose three programmes in each university with an additional fee payment of Rs. 800 (Rs. 350 for SC/ST category).
How to fill CUCET application form?
- Visit the official website
- Click on ‘Apply Online’ tab
- Click on ‘New Registration’ button
- Choose a category – UG/PG/Research Programme
- Enter the details – Candidate Name, Email Id, Mobile Number, Date of Birth
- Enter verification code
- Click on ‘Save and Proceed’ button
- Check your email account/ mobile message box for Application ID
- Login through the Application ID and Date of Birth
- Fill the application form
- Pay the fees
- Submit the CUCET application
- Keep a copy of the filled application form safe
About CUCET
The Central University Common Entrance Test is an admission test held annually for admissions to various programmes including BTech, Integrated MTech, Integrated BSc.Ed, Integrated MSc, BSc, Integrated MA, BBA, BA, Integrated BA LLB, Integrated BA B.Ed, B.Voc, B.Ed, LLM, M.Ed, MA, MSc, M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Pharm. There are 10 Central Universities which participate in the admission process of CUCET namely, Central Universities of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, South Bihar and Tamil Nadu. Besides these 10 Central Universities, Dr B R Ambedkar School of Economics is the eleventh institution to join the CUCET.
