CUET PG 2022: DU, AMU, JMI opt out of CUET for postgraduate admission

NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) have opted out of Common University Entrance Test postgarduate (CUET PG 2022). The University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman M Jagadesh Kumar had earlier announced that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold CUET PG 2022 exam for 42 central and participating universities for the academic session 2022-2023.
The CUET PG 2022 application form began on May 19 and interested candidates will be able to register till June 18, 2022, on the official website cuet.nta.nic.in. The CUET PG 2022 computer-based exam (CBT) will be held in the third week of July.

As per the information brochure, only 35 out of 42 central universities will be taking the CUET PG scores for admission to postgraduate programmes. DU has already begun the DU PG admission process on April 6 at admission.uod.ac. The university conducts its own entrance exam - Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) - for PG admission. AMU will also be conducting its own postgraduate entrance exam.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Pondicherry University, University of Hyderabad, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University are among the central universities that have opted for the CUET PG 2022 exam for admission.
