Union minister of state for skill development and entrepreneurship and minister of state for education, Jayant Chaudhary, on Saturday launched a nationwide awareness campaign titled “Badhna Hai Toh Yahan Judna Hai” to expand the reach of the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH), the government’s integrated digital skilling platform. The platform caters to students, job-seekers, working professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs by consolidating fragmented skilling and employment resources into a single digital interface.

As per the official statement, the campaign was unveiled on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 and will be rolled out across digital platforms, social media, app ecosystems and QR-enabled touchpoints to facilitate seamless registration.

The statement issued by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship said that SIDH has already onboarded over 1.5 crore registered candidates, positioning it among the country’s largest unified digital platforms for skilling, employment and lifelong learning.

SIDH: AI-enabled skilling platform

Speaking at the launch, Chaudhary said, “India’s digital strength has been globally recognized through transformative initiatives such as India Stack, and now the Skill India Digital Hub.” He added that SIDH “exemplifies how digital public infrastructure can power lifelong learning and create real economic opportunity, especially in an era defined by AI and automation.”

The mobile-first, AI-enabled platform integrates multiple government skilling schemes and offers industry-aligned courses along with personalised learning recommendations. Features include Aadhaar-based eKYC registration, OTP-enabled access, QR-code-enabled digital CVs, digitally verified credentials and support in more than 21 Indian languages.

The ministry said SIDH consolidates government skilling initiatives into a central learning hub, enabling users to access courses, verified certifications and career-linked opportunities in one place. The statement added that the initiative aligns with the government’s broader vision of lifelong learning and building a future-ready workforce under the ‘Viksit Bharat’ roadmap.
