CUET UG 2023 exam help centres set up to create awareness among aspirants, says UGC chief

The NTA will set up the CUET UG 2023 help centres to ensure applicants are able to apply without any difficulty and get the necessary guidance.

Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency is setting up examination help centres to guide candidates through the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023 application process, said M Jagadesh Kumar, chairman, University Grants Commission (UGC) on Friday. Application for CUET UG 2023 is open till March 12. The centres are intended to create awareness about and "ensure more participation" in the exam.

"To ensure more participation from candidates throughout India, it has been decided to open CUET (UG) - 2023 Examination Help Centres for creating awareness among aspiring applicants and help provide equal opportunities to the candidates, especially from rural and remote areas," Kumar tweeted.

In the series of tweets, UGC Chairman stated that the objective behind establishing help centres is to ensure that applicants will be able to apply for CUET UG 2023 without any difficulty and get the necessary guidance if required. Aspirants need not go to any cyber cafe for filling out their CUET UG 2023 application, he said. The details of these help centres are available at the NTA website-- nta.ac.in and cuet.samarth.ac.in.

"Each Centre will have one dedicated Technical Person in-charge who will be helping the candidates in filling of the Application Form online. The candidates can go to their nearby Help Centre with the required documents and fill out the form," he further quoted in his tweets.
