CUET UG 2025 will be conducted in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from May 8 to June 1 for admission to degree programmes offered by central, state, private, and deemed-to-be universities.
The last date to apply for CUET exam 2025 is March 22. There are no changes in the CUET UG application fee this year, however, two more central universities have joined the list of CUET UG 2025 universities this year.

Applicants can pay CUET UG 2025 application fee through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.

As per CUET UG 2025 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded five marks for each correct answer and there will be a negative marking of one mark for every incorrect response.
CUET UG 2025: Changes introduced this year
Following the recommendations of a high-level expert committee, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has made the following changes in CUET UG exam 2025 , as mentioned in the NTA CUET UG information bulletin 2025.
- CUET UG 2025 will be conducted in CBT mode only unlike last year when it was administered in hybrid mode (pen and paper mode and CBT mode).
- The number of CUET UG 2025 subjects has been reduced from 61 to 37.
- Candidates will be allowed to choose up to a maximum of five CUET UG 2025 papers only, irrespective of the subjects they studied in Class 12.
- CUET UG 2025 question paper will comprise 50 compulsory questions and examinees will be required to attempt all the questions.
- The duration of each CUET 2025 test will be 60 minutes.
- The number of CUET UG 2025 exam cities has been reduced from 354 to 285 within India and 15 outside India. Last year, the exam was held in 26 cities abroad.
