"We will not let a shortage of money become a roadblock for talented students," said CM Arvind Kejriwal.
The scheme targets students who have completed their secondary or senior secondary education in Delhi, with an annual family income not exceeding Rs 8 lakh. General category students are required to submit an Income or EWS certificate issued by the District Magistrate’s office, while SC, ST, and OBC candidates will need to provide a caste certificate. Notably, 75% of the scheme's beneficiaries will be students from government schools in Delhi.
The scheme offers coaching for various competitive, entrance exams, including:
Group A and B exams by UPSC, SSC, RRBs, and judicial services
State Public Service Commission exams
Officers' grade exams in banks, insurance companies, and PSUs
College entrance exams like Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), All India Pre-Medical Test (now replaced by NEET), Common Admission Test (CAT), Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), and other professional courses.
