JEE Main 2026 session 2 registration ends today for BTech, BArch; apply at jeemain.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the session 2 application window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2026) today, February 25, at 9 pm, while the fee payment window will close at 11:50 pm. According to the JEE Mains session 2 schedule, the NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2026 session 2 from April 2 to 9 in two shifts. The morning shift will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and the afternoon shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.

After the registration window closes, the testing agency will open the JEE Main 2026 application correction window on February 27. Candidates will be able to edit their submitted forms until February 28, 11:50 pm.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam in 2024 or 2025, or those appearing in 2026, are eligible to apply for the JEE Main 2026 session 2 examination.

There is no age limit to appear for the JEE Main 2026. Candidates who appeared in the January session can also appear in the JEE Mains April session.

How to apply for JEE Mains online?

Follow the instructions below to fill the JEE Mains application form for Session 2.

• Go to the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• Click on the "Registration for JEE(Main)-2026 [Session-II]" link.
• Log in using your existing credentials if you appeared in JEE Main Session 1, or register with a valid email and mobile number if you are new.
• Enter your personal and academic details.
• Choose the paper type (BE/BTech, BArch, or BPlan).
• Upload your photograph, signature, and other required documents in the prescribed format and size.
• Choose preferred exam cities for JEE Main 2026 Session 2.
• Pay the JEE Mains application fee online.
• Submit the JEE Main form and download it for future reference.
