Delhi University invites applications for Competence Enhancement Scheme; register by January 8

NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi (DU) is inviting applications for its Competence Enhancement Scheme (CES) for the academic year 2024-25. Interested candidates can apply for the DU’s CES programme through the official website at ces.du.ac.in

The last date for application is January 8, 2025, according to the official schedule. The online application fee for the programme is Rs 100.

The required fee for the Delhi University CES programme is Rs 6,000 per paper. Candidates can register for a maximum of two papers or eight credits in a semester from the same discipline.

Candidates who are already enrolled in any other university as regular student or employed personal are required to submit a non objection certificate at the time of registration.

The initiative is aligned with the vision of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and offers opportunities for individuals to enhance their knowledge and skills. Interested candidates can apply for one to two papers in a semester with a maximum of eight credits without enrolling in programmes and study along with regular students of the programme at DU.

Delhi University CES programme: Awards

After the successful completion of the programme candidates will receive credits in the academic bank of credit and a certificate will be issued after fulfilling the attendance criteria.

Candidates must keep an eye on regular updates about the programme on the official portal. Any changes in the CES admission will not be notified personally to students and will be only updated on the CES official portal.

Delhi University CES programme: Required documents

Given below is the list of mandatory documents each student must have for application.

• Passport size photograph (file size: 10 to 50 kb)

• His/Her Scanned Signature (file size: 10 to 50 kb)

• A valid ID Proof such as aadhaar card, voter’s identity card, PAN Card, passport / Driving License; file size: 100KB-500KB.

• Class 10th mark sheet as DOB proof (file size: 100 to 500 kb)

• Class 12th mark sheet (file size: 100 to 500 kb)

• UG mark sheet file size (100 to 500 kb)

• ABC (Academic Bank of Credits) Document (if applicable; file size: 100 to 500 kb)

• No-objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer, institution, (if any)
