NEW DELHI : Dr BR Ambedkar Schools of Specialised Excellence (ASoSE) has extended the admission date till December 31, 2023. The ASoSE also opened the correction window yesterday. The correction window will close on December 31.
The school took this decision after receiving requests from parents and students to extend the last date of admission form submission. Students can fill out the admission form by visiting the official website at edudel.nic.in.
ASoSE will offer admission in Classes 9 and 11 through an aptitude test or based on the student's demonstrated interest in earlier classes. The aptitude test will be conducted between January 16 and 31, 2024.
Eligibility criteria
For age and reservation-related queries, students and parents can refer to the norms of the directorate of education of Delhi. A minimum of 75% marks is required for admission to ASoSE. ASoSe will fix a qualifying cut-off for each specialisation.
According to the official notice “Admissions are open only for students who are residents of NCT of Delhi (with a valid address proof) and are studying in any recognised school of NCT of Delhi. Both the residence and school conditions need to be met to be eligible for admissions in ASoSEs.”
It should be noted that a minimum of 50% of seats in ASoSE will be filled by students of government or government-affiliated schools in Delhi and the remaining seats will be available for students studying in any recognized school of the city.
