NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi will release the DU 2021 application form for postgraduate and undergraduate programmes on July 26 and August 2, respectively. Candidates can apply for DU PG till August 21 and UG admission 2021 till August 31.
Delhi University will release one common DU application form 2021 for all undergraduate programmes so that candidates who are applying for more than one programme do not face any problems. A common DU 2021 application form will also be released for all postgraduate programmes but candidates have to pay separate fees if they apply for more than one programme .

Delhi University has made some changes in the admission process this year. Each candidate who will be applying for DU 2021 admission should know the following 10 points.
The first DU cut-off list 2021 for undergraduate programmes will be released between September 7 and 10.
The admission to undergraduate programmes will be done based on the candidate’s marks in the last qualifying examination.
Admission for a few undergraduate programmes such as Bachelor in Physiotherapy, Bachelor in Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics will be done through DUET.
The DU 2021 admission process will be completely online. Candidates will not have to visit the campus for any admission purpose.
This year, Delhi University is planning to increase the number of test centres for DUET.
Admission to UG merit-based programmes under ECA and sports category will be conducted on the basis of candidate’s merit/ participation certificates.
The eligibility criteria, fee structure and registration fee will remain the same as last year.
The admission to postgraduate programmes will be done through Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) to be conducted by the National Testing Agency.
Non-NET candidates seeking admissions to PhD and MPhil programmes are required to appear for DUET 2021.
Only for this year, the applicants will be allowed to upload certificates of the preceding four years (May 1, 2017 – April 30, 2021).
Candidates should also know that the registration fee will not be refunded. The University of Delhi will be conducting DU 2021 admission for enrolling students to around 65,000 and 20,000 seats in its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Earlier, the University Grants Commission (UGC) announced that the NTA will not be conducting the common entrance test for admission to central universities from this year. The proposed CUCET examination may be implemented from the academic session 2022-23.
