DU Admission 2022: CSAS round 1 fee payment deadline extended till October 25

Download NowNEW DELHI : Delhi University (DU) has extended the deadline for payment of fees for Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) round 1 till October 25, 2 pm. Candidates who have been alloted seats in CSAS round 1 can pay admission fees by logging in on the official admission portal – ugadmission.uod.ac.in.

“On the request of candidates, and considering the Diwali festivities, the last date for payment of fees by the candidates has been extended to 2 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2022,” read an official statement from DU.

DU informed that the candidates who fail to submit the admission fees before the deadline will not be able to participate in any subsequent CSAS rounds of UG admission 2022. Only those candidates who pay the admission fees will get the option of ‘upgrade’.
The university will display the vacant seat, if any, at 10 am on October 26, 2022. “Subsequently, the candidates who have taken the admission in CSAS Round–I can opt for “Upgrade” and re-ordering their higher Preferences from 10 am, Wednesday, October 26, 2022 to 4:59 pm Thursday, October 27, 2022,” DU statement added.

Over 72,800 candidates out of 80,164 have accepted the college and course allotted to them in DU CSAS round 1 seat allocation so far.
DU second merit list will be released on October 30, 2022. Candidates will be able to accept their allocated seats from October 31 to November 1, 2022. DU will also be opening a mid-entry window for UG programmes from November 5 to November 7, 2022 during CSAS round-3. The classes for 2022-23 academic year will begin on November 2, 2022.
Delhi University recently announced the rejection of reserved category candidates in CSAS round-1 seat allocation who did not submit their category certificates according to the university's prescribed format. These candidates will be considered for the unreserved seats in CSAS round-2.
