NEW DELHI: University of Delhi has announced to conduct three regular allocation for DU admission 2022 through common seat allocation system 2022 (CSAS). Before the announcement of the DU first merit list 2022, the Delhi University will also release a ‘simulated list’ for candidates to assess their probabilities of securing admission in a programme offered by a DU college.
DU has also extended the deadline for candidates to fill application form and preferred college and courses at ugadmission.uod.ac.in till October 12, 2022. After the declaration of the DU simulated list, two more days will be provided to the candidates to re-order their preferences. This option will give candidates an opportunity to make changes as per the probability of securing admission in any of the DU colleges.
The university reiterated that candidates must select a maximum number of programmes plus college preferences offered to them by the University under the “Available Preferences” to maximise their possibilities of allocation under the CSAS 2022.
DU simulated list 2022 will be published on October 14 and students will have a chance to make changes to their preferences till October 16, 2022.
The first DU CSAS allocation list 2022 will be uploaded on October 18 on the DU UG admission portal , ugadmission.uod.ac.in. The window to accept the allocated seat will be open from October 19 to 21, 2022.
The DU colleges will verify and approve the applications by October 22. Following this, students will have to pay the DU admission fee by October 24. Before the announcement of DU CSAS 2nd merit list, the number of vacant seats will be notified on October 25, 2022.
The University may announce more spot rounds subject to the availability of vacant seats, if any. “It has been observed from the registration statistics that there are ample opportunities for the candidates belonging to SC and ST category to take admission in the University of Delhi,” the university said.
“In order to optimally fill the seats, the University will be allocating 30% extra seats for the SC/ST candidates in the first CSAS allocation round,” Delhi University informed.
