BTech Admission 2025 Live: JEE Mains, SRMJEEE, MET registrations underway; MHT CET syllabus updates

JEE Main 2025 scores are valid for one year.  Candidates can use their JEE Main 2025 scores for admission at participating institutions in the academic year 2025-26.

The JEE Mains 2025 registration link will remain active till November 22 up to 11:50 pm only.

As per NTA, if a candidate engages in unfair practices during, before, or after the JEE Mains 2025 exam, they will be booked under Unfair Means (UFM) case. Such candidates may face severe consequences, including a ban from taking the exam for three years. Additionally, they can also face criminal charges or other actions deemed appropriate by the authorities.

The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2025 registration has commenced. The MET 2025 registration link can be accessed at manipal.edu.

JEE Main scores are valid for one year. This means candidates can use their JEE Main 2025 scores for admission at participating institutions in the academic year 2025-26.

The JEE Main category certificate 2025 is required to be uploaded in PDF format and should have a file size between 10 KB and 300 KB.

For JEE Mains 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has specified that all rough work or calculations must be done only on the rough sheets provided at the exam center. Candidates will receive these sheets in the examination room or hall. Upon completion of the exam, it is mandatory for candidates to hand over the rough sheets to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall.

The JEE Mains 2025 registration process involves the following

• Visit official website: Go to the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, or the National Testing Agency (NTA) website.
• New Registration: Click on the "New Registration" button and complete the registration process by providing basic details such as your name, date of birth, and email ID.
• Fill JEE Mains 2025 application form: Once registered, log in with your credentials to fill out the application form. Provide details such as personal information, educational qualifications, and preferred exam cities.
• Upload documents: Upload scanned images of your photograph, signature, and required certificates (category certificate, PwD certificate, if applicable) in the prescribed format.
• Payment of JEE Mains 2025 registration fee: Pay the application fee online through net banking, credit, debit card, or UPI.
• Confirmation: After successful payment, download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
• Correction window: NTA will open a correction window for making changes to certain fields in the JEE Mains 2025 application form.

The VITEEE 2025 will consists of 125 questions divided into mathematics or biology (40 questions), physics (35 questions), chemistry (35 questions), aptitude (10 questions), and English (five questions).

According to NTA, if a candidate initially passed the Class 12 examination in one state but later attempted improvement in another, their eligibility code should be based on the state of their original qualification, not the improvement attempt. Candidates who completed Class 12 through NIOS should select their eligibility state according to the location of their study center.

There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in VIT entrance exam 2025. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has added Germany as international exam centre this year. Munich has been identified as the new exam city in Germany for JEE Mains this year.

For JEE Main 2025, the number of domestic exam centers have been reduced from 300 in the previous year to 284.

As per the guidelines, PwD and PwBD candidates will get an additional time of a minimum of one hour for the three-hour JEE Mains 2025 exam . Moreover, the word extra or additional time will be called compensatory time. The facility of a scribe will be granted on the production of relevant certificates.

JEE Mains 2025 will be used for admission to the engineering and architecture programmes at the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other institutions. It will also be used as an eligibility test for JEE Advanced 2025.

The last date to fill SRMJEEE application form 2025 phase 1 is April 16, 2025, while the deadline for phase 2 is June 6, 2025.

• Phase 2: June 12 to 17, 2025

Candidates with VITEEE 2025 rank upto 1 lakh will be eligible for counselling to all the four campuses, VIT-Vellore, VIT-Chennai, VIT-AP and VIT-Bhopal. However, VITEEE 2025 rank holders above 1 lakh will be eligible for counselling to VIT-AP and VIT-Bhopal campuses only.

To address name mismatches during Aadhaar authentication in the JEE Mains 2025 registration , the NTA has issued an advisory regarding the the application process. Candidates who see a pop-up message indicating a name discrepancy are required to close the message. A new window will then open, allowing them to proceed with Aadhaar authentication by entering their name exactly as it appears on their Aadhaar card. The system will capture both Aadhaar and educational certificate names.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has commenced the Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE) 2025 registration process from October 22. Interested and eligible candidates can fill up th e AEEE 2025 application form by visiting the official website, aeee.amrita.edu.

The MHT CET 2025 exam dates are not yet out. The MHT CET exam is held for admissions to BTech programmes across engineering colleges in Maharashtra. Based on past trends, MHT CET 2025 registration is likely to open in January.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will conduct the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 on March 23.  GUJCET 2025 exam will be held in offline mode.

The VITEEE 2025 exam will be conducted from April 21 to 27.

The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are considering a potential fee increase. To address the matter, the Ministry of Education has formed a committee to review the fee structure. A member of the committee confirmed that the findings will be presented to the IIT Council for further deliberation.
