The latest NTA warning against NEET UG 2025 rumours comes in light of the recent reports on alleged NEET paper leak and malpractices.

This year, over 22.7 lakh candidates have registered for the exam. "There will be three layers of monitoring on the exam day – at the District, State, and Centre levels," a Ministry of Education (MoE) source said.

The candidature of 215 candidates who appeared in the NEET-UG 2024 exam has been put on hold pending an investigation, the source said.

A release said there will be no mega block on the Main, Harbour and Trans Harbour lines to ensure smooth travel for NEET aspirants and their families. In Mumbai, suburban services are usually suspended on Sundays for maintenance.
"There is an apprehension that anti-social elements or cyber fraudsters may try to break the integrity of the examination through rumours on social media platforms," Bihar Police said.
IMU-CET 2025: The Indian Maritime University will conduct the common entrance test on May 24 in a single shift from 11 am to 2 pm.
NTA has discontinued section B optional questions in the paper this year. NEET UG exam will be held on May 4, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
