FMGE December 2023 Exam Date: NMC to begin application process from October 16

FMGE December 2023: Candidates can apply for the eligibility certificate for Foreign Medical Graduate Exam till October 25 through nmc.org.in.
NEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission will start inviting applications for eligibility certificate for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2023 from October 16. FMGE is tentatively scheduled for December this year, the commission said. Candidates appearing for the exam can apply for the certificate through NMC’s website, nmc.org.

The last date to submit the application for FMGE eligibility certificate is October 25 till 6 pm. The commission stated that candidates will not be allowed to sit for the screening test without the certificate.
“The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) screening test may be scheduled tentatively in the month of December, 2023 by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. As per the requirements, the candidates who are required to have the eligibility criteria are not permitted to apply for screening test without the eligibility certificate issued by the National Medical Commission,” NMC said in an official notification.
The commission added that incomplete applications will not be processed and shall be rejected. After that, the portal to apply for the certificate will be closed.
NMC asked candidates to confirm the requirement of the eligibility certificate by referring to the public notices dated December 11, 2018 and April 5, 2019 on its website.
“All such candidates who intend to correspond regarding their applications are requested to provide reference of their file tracking number at eligibility.regn@nmc.org.in or usregn@nmc.org.in.,” the NMC further said.
