Try NowNEW Delhi, March 6: IIT Guwahati is expected to release the result of GATE 2018 in online mode on March 17. The result for all 23 GATE papers will be published on the same day which will consist of the scores secured by the candidates in the exam. Along with the scores, the All India Rank (AIR) of the successful candidates will also be present in the result. The score card will be available for download later from March 20 till May 31, 2018.

However, there is a high probability that the result will get released a day earlier i.e., on March 16, 2018. According to the previous year trends, the result has always been announced a day earlier by the concerned authorities. Therefore, there is a high chance of the result being declared by the authorities earlier than the determined date.

How to Access Result of GATE 2018
- The candidates will have to enter their GATE 2018 registration ID, enrolment number and date of birth.
- Click on “Submit”
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- The candidates will be able to check the result and later download the score card.
The score card will be made available to only those candidates who qualify GATE examination. Since the score card will be available only for a period of time, the candidates are advised to keep many copies of the document. Validity of the GATE score card is for 3 years. The secured GATE marks out of 1000, scores out of 100, All India Rank and number of candidates who appeared for the particular paper will be available in the score card.
For GATE papers of CE, CS, EC, EE and ME, which was conducted in multi sessions and slots, a normalization procedure will be adapted by the authorities during the calculation of scores.
