GATE 2024 registration with late fees ends tomorrow; check exam pattern

Check NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru will close the registration window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 tomorrow, October 20. Interested candidates can register for GATE 2024 exam with a late fee form through the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
The GATE 2024 examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024.

Candidates have to make the additional payment of Rs 500 as late fees. However, candidates can continue to "Add Paper" at the regular fee till October 20, 2023. Female, SC, ST, PwD candidates need to pay Rs 1400 as the registration fee (for the extended period), and all other candidates including foreign nationals need to pay Rs 2400 as the registration fee.
GATE 2024: Documents required
Candidates need to upload the documents given below at the time of the GATE 2024 registration form filling process online.
- Scanned copy of candidate’s photograph and signature
- Category certificate (if any)
- PwD certificate (if any)
- Certificate of Dyslexia in pdf format (if any)
- Scanned copy of valid photo identity proofs
GATE 2024: Exam pattern
The PG engineering entrance test will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours in computer based test (CBT) mode. The exam will have three sections-

Aptitude
-
Engineering Mathematics
-
Subject-specific questions
The questions will carry 1 mark and 2 marks There will be negative marking for wrong answer marked. For 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. For the 2-mark MCQ, the 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
