IIT Guwahati reopens GATE 2026 application form correction only for today

Try NowThe Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has reopened the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 application form correction window only for today, November 18. Candidates can access the GATE 2026 application correction window on the official website, goaps.iitg.ac.in.
IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 entrance test from February 7 to 15 in two shifts. The forenoon shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the afternoon shift will take place from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
GATE 2026 results will be announced on March 19. GATE 2026 is held for admission to master’s and PhD in engineering, technology, architecture, and other programmes.

Candidates can edit the following details in the GATE 2026 application form:
- Gender
- Category
- PwD status
- Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities
- Details of Parents/ Guardian/ Correspondence address
- College name and location, Roll number, Registration number
- Exam paper
- Exam city
- Qualifying degree details
GATE Application Form 2026: How to edit?
The steps to edit the GATE 2026 application form correction are as follows.
- Visit the official website.
- Log in using their enrollment number, email ID, and password.
- You will be redirected to a new page.
- For changes to the previously selected GATE exam centres and papers, extra fees will have to be paid.
- Click on ‘Submit’.
- A printout has to be taken for future reference.
GATE 2026 will have a total of 30 test papers comprising full and sectional papers. Additionally, a new GATE sectional paper on Energy Science is introduced in the Engineering Sciences (XE) paper. A candidate can appear for one or two test papers.
