GGSIU invites applications for PhD winter session 2024-25; last date to apply November 30

IP University Admissions: Interested applicants can apply for PhD programmes and appear for PhD Entrance Test (PET) being held on December 22.
NEW DELHI : The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIU) has commenced the application for PhD programmes for the winter session 2024-25. Candidates willing to apply for PhD programmes at GGSIU can now submit their applications through its official website ipu.ac.in.

The application for the admissions began on November 1, 2025. The last date to submit the online applications is November 30, as per the latest notification.
According to the GGSIU, a PhD Entrance Test (PET) will be conducted on December 22 for candidates willing to take admissions to the university. Interested candidates who have cleared any national-level exams equivalent to PET are exempt from appearing for PET.

IP University Admissions: Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for admissions to PhD entrance programmes are as follows:

Admissions will be based on PhD entrance test (PET) and interview.

Candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR NET, GATE, CEED, and or other similar national-level exams will be exempted from the entrance test conducted by the University for admission.

Admissions shall also be done based on NET Score under the UGC.
